Alexa Tip: Voice Commands that Work and Don’t Work for Audio Groups

As many Alexa device owners are testing the recently released Audio Groups functionality, many are finding specific voice commands that work with the synchronized music feature, and some that don’t.

Here’s the list of commands that work:

“Alexa, play (song / album / playlist / etc.) on (group name)”

“Alexa, pause”

“Alexa, set volume for (group name) to (level)”

Here’s what doesn’t currently work:

At this time, you can’t use your voice to rewind or fast-forward during Multi-Room Music playback.

Alexa is available for Amazon devices Echo, Dot, Tap, Echo Show, Echo Look, Dash Wand, Fire tablets, and Fire TV, Amazon Fire TV Edition TVs, but also on iOS, Android, and the web with Reverb.ai.
