Alexa Tip: Alarm, Timer, and Notification Volume

Many Alexa users don’t realize that music can play at a different volume than alarms, timers, and notifications.

Alarms, Timers, and Notifications can be set per device through the Alexa app (or on the web by going to:

Settings – (specific Alexa device) – Sounds – Alarm, Time, and Notification Volume

Alarm, Timer, Notification Volume

Music volume is set during music play and stays at that level until you change it. So, you can go to sleep with soft music, but still ensure the alarm is loud enough to wake you up.
