Alexa Tip: Creating and Adjusting Traffic Reports

As part of your daily briefing, Alexa can give you a traffic report. And, it can also tell you about your commute just by asking for the single report.

For this piece to function correctly, it has to be configured in Settings. And, if you ever want to change your route, you also have to modify the start and destination locations. You can also configure “stops” into the route. For example, if you pick someone up for a car pool, you can add that here so that your overall route report is as accurate as possible. Unfortunately, for now you can only add a single stop to the route.

Things you can say…

“How is traffic?”
“What’s my commute?”
“What’s traffic like right now?”

To configure or change your route, go into Settings and then go down the main settings page to the Traffic option.
