Alexa Tip: Adjusting EQ Bands

Here’s an undocumented feature – and quite possibly something that Amazon is simply working on to make better in the future.

The current firmware allows voice adjustment of the three primary EQ bands: Bass, Midrange, and Treble.

To adjust, during music playback say things like…

“Alexa, turn up the bass.”

“Alexa turn down the treble.”

“Alexa, increase the midrange.”

“Alexa, decrease the bass.”

Alexa is available for Amazon devices Echo, Dot, Tap, Echo Show, Echo Look, Dash Wand, Fire tablets, and Fire TV, Amazon Fire TV Edition TVs, but also on iOS, Android, and the web with Reverb.ai.
