Alexa Skills: Prayer for the Lazy

I don’t know how lazy you have to be to rely on a device to offer up prayers for your situation, but a new Alexa skill may help set the bar.

Called Prayer Warrior, you can ask Alexa to offer a prayer for a specific situation or task and she’ll start praying.

With more coming, here’s the current list of prayer topics:

  • Exams
  • Jobs
  • Health
  • Children
  • Starting the day/Good Morning
  • Ending the day/Good Night
  • Family

You can say…

“Alexa, Open Prayer warrior”
“Alexa, ask Prayer warrior to pray for jobs”
“Alexa, ask Prayer warrior help”

Interestingly enough, this skill launched on April 15, 2017 – U.S. tax day – but currently has no prayer for tax relief.

Where to get it: You can locate the Prayer Warrior Skill in the Amazon Alexa app, enable it using your voice, or use the following web link: Prayer Warrior

Alexa is available for Amazon devices Echo, Dot, Tap, Fire tablets, and Fire TV, but also on iOS, Android, and the web with Reverb.ai.
