Alexa Skills: Guitar Scales

More than just a guitar tuner skill, I’ve found this latest guitar-oriented Alexa skill to offer more for the actual musician than any of the others available already.

This latest skill, called Star Guitar Scale Information, allows you to delve deeper into the actual minor and major scales, how they are formed, and also provide immediate information for specific notes in each scale. For guitarists that are just fine with playing only barre cords or those that prefer to strum along on an acoustic, this may not mean much – but for those guitarists who have moved on a bit and want to belt out some melodic leads or add dimension with meaningful fills, this is a great Alexa skill to have.

You can say things like…

“Alexa, ask Star Guitar what are the notes in C major?”
“Alexa, ask Star Guitar what are the notes for C minor?”
“Alexa, ask Star Guitar what is the formula for the minor scale?”

Where to get it: You can locate Star Guitar Scale Information Skill in the Amazon Alexa app, enable it using your voice, or use the following web link: Star Guitar Scale Information

Alexa is available for Amazon devices Echo, Dot, Tap, Echo Show, Echo Look, Dash Wand, Fire tablets, and Fire TV, but also on iOS, Android, and the web with Reverb.ai.
