Alexa Skills: Decision-making and Game Play

A new Alexa skill called GameBuddy combines dice throws, card draws, and coin flips into a single skill. Essentially, you can just throw away your dice – or, not have to worry about losing the dice for each game you own, which is more the case here at our house. Our kids play a lot of board games and dice goes missing constantly.

GameBuddy supports one to many dice rolls, including many-sided dice – so even those games with special dice are covered.

Examples of things you can say…

“Alexa, ask Game Buddy to roll three twenty-sided dice.”
“Alexa, ask Game Buddy to flip a coin.”
“Alexa, ask Game Buddy to draw five cards.”

Where to get it: You can locate the GameBuddy Skill in the Amazon Alexa app, enable it using your voice, or use the following web link: GameBuddy

Alexa is available for Amazon devices Echo, Dot, Tap, Echo Show, Echo Look, Fire tablets, and Fire TV, but also on iOS, Android, and the web with Reverb.ai.
