One of the semi-annoying aspects of using Alexa lists, is that you can’t add multiple items at once. The inability doesn’t necessarily bother me, but my wife complains about it. For example, you can’t say “Alexa, add milk and eggs to my shopping list.” Instead you have to add each one separately, i.e., “Alexa, add milk to my shopping list.” and “Alexa, add eggs to my shopping list.”
Amazon is working to deliver this functionality and its expected soon.
However, in the interim, there’s an Alexa skill you can enable that treats the word “and” as an indicator to separate commands and gives you the ability to use a single voice command to add multiple items to your list.
The skill: Quick List
Currently, Quick List only works with the default shopping list, but the author promises the option to work with other lists soon.
