Alexa Protection and Function: The CUVR Amazon Tap Case Sling Cover

Amazon offers its own cover for its Alexa Tap device. The case Amazon provides is nice, useable, and stylish, but takes away one of the better features of the portable Alexa Tap. Once you install the Amazon case, you can no longer use the handy charging base. You can still access and use the mini-USB port on the back of the Tap, but the convenience of just sitting the device into the charging base is gone.

Fortunately, a third party has stepped up and delivered an awesome protective case that also does a bit more. CUVR provides a sling cover that not only protects the device and has squared edges to keep the Tap from rolling off a table, but it also fits perfectly to allow Tap owners to continue using he charging base. And, just like the Amazon version, sports a loop on the back for hanging up out of the way.

Installation is as quick and easy. And, to top it off, Amazon’s own case is around $20, while the one from CUVR is only $10.
