Alexa on PCs is a Lot Closer to Reality, Announcements Imminent

Over a year ago, Microsoft and Amazon announced that Alexa would come to PCs via a Cortana conduit, and vice-versa (Cortana would come to Alexa). And, then months ago, certain PC hardware manufacturers began touting new models coming in 2018 that would have Alexa built in. We also know that the capability is closer thanks to a demo at Microsoft’s developer conference, BUILD.

Now, the reality of Alexa on PCs is getting extremely close.

Over the past few days, several key pieces of promotional material has made it to the web.

On Amazon, there’s now an Alexa for PCs page:

And, the following YouTube video has been released by the Alexa Developers channel
