Alexa FAQ: Deregister from the Calling and Messaging Feature

There are those today that, after receiving the new calling and messaging feature for their Alexa devices, want to opt out of the new features for one reason or another.

Unfortunately, Amazon did not include an option in the Alexa app to deregister, or quit from, the calling and messaging feature.

You can deregister your device from the feature, but to do so you have to call customer service at 1-877-375-9365 to have an Amazon service rep help you de-register from Alexa calling and messaging.
