Alexa DIY: Plane Spotting with Alexa

Here’s another awesome, out-of-the-box thinking solution for Alexa voice services and devices.

Nick Sypteras recently move to a location where airplanes move across his plane of view outside his window. Normally, he’d visit a web site to gather information about the airplane, but then he developed a way to have Alexa provide the information to him using a Raspberry PI, an Amazon Echo Dot, and a Rtl-sdr dongle.
