A few days ago, Amazon updated its Alexa devices to allow customers to direct-dial cell phones and landlines. Now the company has brought the new feature support to its Alexa app for iOS and Android, but with a couple exceptions between platforms.
Currently, for Android, the update added for calling phone numbers through Echo devices in the US, Canada, Mexico from Echo devices.
For iOS, you can call phone numbers like the Android update, but you can also you can also answer calls without unlocking the lockscreen.
