Amazon has taken steps this week to make it look like the company actually cares about its mobile Alexa apps. The company has started rolling out a more fluent design for the app, which also puts icons and actions in logical places. Performance is greatly improved, too.
In addition, a new Devices management option is available which enables Echo customers to better configure, monitor, and manage devices and groups of devices.
The redesign is part of a renewed focus to better compete against Alexa’s surging competitors.
