On May 7th, Microsoft delivered the first iteration of support templates for administrators to manage Windows 10 version 1803 (released in April 2018) using Group Policy.
The company has since updated its Administrative Templates (.admx files) and given them a full version updated, labeling the latest as version 2.0.
Other than updating the version level and making them available, Microsoft has not stated if the latest revision contains bugs fixes and/or new management capabilities. Unfortunately, a Group Policy reference that is linked to from the download page hasn’t been updated since October 2017. According to reports, this version update fixes an error message with the original release that was caused by a missing SearchOCR.ADMX file.
But, its probably a good idea to update to this latest version, if anything just to stay current.
The download is roughly 14MB.
