Windows 10’s Timeline feature which was introduced to the public with the April 2018 Update, has been slow to catch on with non-Microsoft providers. Such is the way of things, though. What sounds neat and what Microsoft gets its Insiders to hype, turns out to be very different in the real world. Real users and developers have, so far, been ‘meh’ about it.
That could change a bit with a new browser add-on that allow Chrome (and Chrome variants) and Firefox to take part in Timeline, considering far more people use these browsers than Edge. With the new add-on, browsing history is now included in Timeline.
For Chrome, Vivaldi, and Opera (with the Chrome extension installed): Windows Timeline Support
For Firefox: Windows Timeline Support
