Microsoft Sends ConfigMgr Hybrid Diag Tool into Public Beta

The Hybrid Diagnostics tool for System Center Configuration Manager helps bridge the troubleshooting gap for those running ConfigMgr in a Hybrid environment. It offers the ability for ConfigMgr admins to automatically detect any of the following potential causes for problems:

  • Verifies that the SMS Executive service is running
  • Ensures the service connection point certificate exists
  • Identifies any conflicts between service connection point certificates
  • Reports on the DNS CName entry for the specified UPN
  • Confirms device type enablement in Configuration Manager
  • Extrapolates known errors in Status Messages
  • Confirms UPN synchronization in AAD is working
  • Warranties that the specified user is a member of the cloud user collection
  • Certifies that the AAD ID and cloud user ID match

The tool is available now in public beta and can be downloaded from here: System Center Configuration Manager Hybrid Diagnostics tool
