You’ve seen the TechEd 2014 session catalog already, so you can imagine those that were long-time attendees of the Microsoft Management Summit were a bit confused to see so little available to supply their attendance requirements. However, TechEd 2014 NA did sell out recently, so the content is good for many.
To help fill the void many believe exists, the Houston Area Systems Management User Group (HASMUG) is teaming up with Cameron Fuller and Maarten Goet to attempt to coordinate a sort of post TechEd User Group meeting. The plan is that on Friday, May 16 (the day after TechEd ends), HASMUG will help put on a separate event allowing MVPs and industry leaders to deliver 10 sessions of System Center content, including SCCM, OpsMgr, Cloud and others.
In addition, the plan is to host a special lunch session where attendees to the post-con can chat about how MMS can be better integrated into TechEd in the future. It would be great to get a bunch of voices together to help build a better representation of the community for 2015.
