Start thinking about Deploying and Managing Windows 8

MSDN Channel Nine has a great (and short) video that starts talking about deploying and managing Windows 8 with ConfigMgr 2012 SP1 as part of their Reimaging Windows series.

Martin Booth, a Sr. Technical Product Manager, touches on Windows 8 application deployment, endpoint protection, operating system deployment, and managing/leveraging Windows 8 features like BitLocker pre-provisioning, always on/always connected, and Windows ToGo support.  Martin also explains the shortcomings of managing Windows 8 if you are still on ConfigMgr 2007.

This short video is a primer for considering how to start supporting Windows 8 devices.  ConfigMgr 2012 SP1 can help make Windows 8 upgrade projects highly successful and valuable to the organization.  The other videos in the series help technologists understand the significant new features of Windows 8.
