In a recent blog post on Windows 8, Windows Server 2012, ConfigMgr 2012, and Endpoint Protection, Microsoft tipped their hat a bit to when we can expect System Center 2012 SP1 to exit beta and RCx, and hit the public pavement.
Without digging deep into this release, going down a conspiracy theory road, or even making hypothesized statements about the future of Microsoft conferences, what is extremely important to realize is that MMS 2013 is coming, and where better to announce the release of SP1 but a System Center-specific conference. Even if SP1 is released prior to MMS 2013, you can bet that there will be a LOT of SP1 content at the conference, and another great selling point for getting approval to attend.
