On September 18, 2012, find out how Windows Server 2012 is related to Seinfeld and Marty McFly

As some of you know, I was in the Microsoft studios the week of September 3, 2012 (Windows Server 2012 Launch Week), filming some very unique events where I sit down with product leads representing various components of Windows Server 2012.  A brief day of practice on Wednesday, led to an early start in makeup and wardrobe on Thursday morning.  Our three sessions will be released on September 18th, 2012 and you’ll definitely want to make a note to watch.  Make sure to listen closely to catch references to Seinfeld, Marty McFly, Johnny Mnemonic, and a “French” version of the word “Azure“.  You are also introduced, for the first time, to the “Grandparent Button“.

It was a real pleasure to participate in the Windows Server 2012 launch and I hope you enjoy the great content served up during our sessions.

Here’s what you can expect on September 18th…

Windows Azure and the Hybrid Cloud - Learn about the the Cloud OS and how Microsoft has developed a powerful and highly available environment for the Cloud.

Virtualization - Hear from product leads to understand some cool Windows Server 2012 technologies that have been released for the first time.  You even get some deep scoop on PowerShell 3.0.

Virtual Desktop Infrastructure - In this session we detail how things like System Center integrate with Windows Server 2012 and how the new server OS from Microsoft makes everything better.

Jump out to the links provided above and you can even choose to be reminded when the sessions go live.
