We will be deploying our Configuration Baseline in this tutorial that we created in part 2. In the console expand the Compliance Settings node and click on Configuration Baselines. Right click the baseline we created and select Deploy.
Select Remediate noncompliant rules when supported to make sure that this configuration item is managed. Select any other options as per preference and in collection, select browse to choose the machines you wish to deploy to. Select the drop down box to Device Collections as we are applying this baseline to machines that users will log on to. Select your collection from the list. Click OK when you are happy with the collection you have selected.
Click OK again once you are happy with the deployment settings of your baseline to that collection.
The next time the client’s poll for their SCCM policy, they’ll retrieve this baseline and apply accordingly.
You can confirm this by looking under the Configurations tab of the Configuration Manager Properties and even clicking on the View Report button to confirm compliance.
