This is part two of my tutorial on how to utilize DCM in SCCM 2012. We will create a Configuration Baseline to use our Configuration Item and in part 3 we will deploy them to a collection.
In the console, expand the Compliance Settings node and right click Configuration Baselines. Click on Create Configuration Baseline.
In the Create CB wizard, enter the name of your CB and optionally the description. Click add and select Configuration Item so we can add in our CI from earlier.
Select the CI we created earlier and click Add to add it to the baseline. Click OK to confirm.
Back on the main wizard, click OK again and there you go. You have just created your Configuration Baseline!
