Adrian installed ConfigMgr 2012 in his lab and was immediately faced with the error message: “Could not connect or execute SQL query setup”. The error also exhibited itself during Standalone Primary Site and Center Administration Site installation.
After a bit of troubleshooting and research, Adrian resolved the issue himself by altering the IPALL value in SQL Server config Manager.
