The SCCM Guru Father’s Day family outing

Just received an excellent email note from an awesome SCCM Guru fan, Travis, who has outfitted his entire family with SCCM Guru shirts.

First off, allow me to thank you for the Amazon gift card.  I never imagined putting on the SCCM Guru shirt that morning would lead to that.

I also wanted to include a picture taken on Father’s Day.  I guess one day out of the year, the family indulges me.  I wish I could have gotten a pic while we were zip-lining, but I guess this will have to do.  Everyone commented on our matching shirts.   I was hard pressed to explain what an “SCCM Guru” is to the non-IT public, but they liked the shirts.  Even more surprising, the kids actually love the shirts and just say it is “something Dad does at work”.  I don’t think they will all wear them at the same time again however.

Incidentally, wherever I travel, it’s amazing to see folks wearing these shirts.  Its really complimentary to know that the SCCM Guru webcast series has had such a positive impact.  You see above that Travis received an Amazon.com gift certificate just for wearing his shirt.  If you are attending an event, conference, or User Group meeting where I am also in attendance, you might just receive something similar.
