ConfigMgr 2012 Right Click Tools

This is a collection of SCCM 2012 right click tools.  Some were created by me and some were pulled from packs made by Dan Ireland and Rich Houchins for SCCM 2007.  Please let me know in the comments if you have any problems or suggestions for new tools.  I’ll be updating this page with bug fixes / new tools periodically.

Just run Right Click Tools Install.cmd, then close and reopen config manager and enjoy your tools!

My SCCM is isntalled on the D drive. I was getting errors regarding location issues when attempting to run. I’ve copied items to the C drive locations based on the errors. I’m created a new cmd isntall to install tot he D drive. The tools appear present now but none of them produce any results including errors. Please advise.

I installed the tools on a Server 2012, installed .Net3.51. I can right click and the tools options are visible but nothing happens. If I execute the .PS1 manually via PowerShell they run, but nothing seems to run within the SCCM console. Am i missing anything? All the extension folders are in the right place. thank you.

      I am experiencing same problems.
I can run powershell, set unrestricted, and then load the scripts fine,
however when accessing through SCCM the commands don’t load anything, seems it cannot open powershell?

I created a CodePlex project to track changes I’m making. I just updated the Right Click Tools there to include a better vbs scrip to launch the powershell files through SCCM. It’s the same set of tools as here, except with the better vbs script to launch it.

I’m still in the process of adding a lot of new features (deployment tools, more collection tools, and more features in existing device tools) so once that’s complete I’ll update the CodePlex site and post an article on myitforum.

          that’s awesome!
          works heaps better
I was looking at modifying the script myself to put the bypass and unblock parts, but couldn’t sort it perfectly :-)

I had the same issue, I had to go in and use the unblock-file cmdlet (or right click properties) on each file in the directory. Then everything starting running great.

Kevin, that worked. Thanks. Still looking for a CM12 right click tool set that can connect to the Admin, WBEM shares. Any idea on which ones can do that? thanks

John I had the same problem on 2012. My install was on the D drive so I pointed the install to that dir but it didn’t work. I’m not sure if it had any impact, but I did the reg permission tweeks, unblocked everything in the dirs and such as mentioned but no change. I’m sure our structures are not identical but I copied the SCCMConsoleExtensions dir to c:\Program Files and then it worked. Maybe you need to unblock all the files in the dir or put yours in the (x86) dir?

Does this one work with SCCM 2007? I have 1 problem when advertisement has subcollection checked, ReRun advertisement on collection does not show the advertisement in the Subcollection.

What would I do without right click??? I would love to see an extension to remove a group of computers from direct membership, just like we have the “Add Computers To collection”
