MMS 2012 Schedule Builder calendar sync options

To make it even easier to schedule your sessions and labs AND retain what you selected, the MMS 2012 web site offers three different calendar sync options:

  • Internet Calendar
  • Outlook Synchronization via ClickOnce
  • .vcal Appointments

Make sure you take advantage of these options.  Once you have your selections synched, you can go back and show management just how busy you will be during the week of MMS 2012.  This is also a great way to remember the sessions you attended.  Keep notes in the calendar item so you can go back and review later on.

To see the options in the Schedule Builder, click the “View My Schedule” option at the right of the sessions list:

View My Schedule

Then, choose one of the three options available:

I use CompanionLink for Google so Outlook automatically synchs with my tablet and phone.

I figured it out. I added the webcal link as an “Other Calendar” to my gmail account I has associated with my iPhone. It then shows up in the list as ‘MMS 2012 Calendar’.

Now, on my iPhone, I went to http://m.google.com/sync and selected the MMS 2012 Calendar to be synced with my account. About a minute later the calendar showed up in my iPhone. This will probably work with Android as well, if you use a gmail account.
