Starting the myITforum Wiki migrations
February 22, 2012 in Community, myITforum.com by Admin for myITforum.com
Our Wiki has always had some of the best, collaborated information. As we move along, closer to MMS 2012, we’re attempting the push to get myITforum.com 3.0 further down the road, and part of that push is the cleanup and migration of Wiki data.
myITforum.com is now configured logically and organizationally. The Community Groups have been a real help and are extremely popular. If you want to find a topic and start participating, its easy to do. Within these Community Groups we’ve rolled out a new Collaboration feature where members of the group can participate in generating and updating online documentation.
To see what I mean take a look at the old Wiki site: http://myitforum.com/myitforumwp/services/wiki/
And, now take a look at the MMS-specific content that is being migrated into its proper Community Group location: http://myitforum.com/myitforumwp/groups/microsoft-management-summit/docs/
Part of the beauty of this is that when a doc is modified, depending on your email settings for that group, you will be notified when great new content has arrived. And, you can then jump out and improve the docs on your own.
