Zune 2.3 update available today...

If you open up your Zune desktop software for very long, you’ll be presented with the update to version 2.3. The installation takes about 10 minutes, which includes checking for the update, preparing the computer, and then installing the Zune software. Apparently, this is a bug update not a feature...

Does anyone know the status of the Altec Lansing iM414 Zune Speaker Dock?

Picked up a Zune 80 today

Smaller, a tad bit bigger screen. The new touch sensitive pad is interesting to use. It will definitely take a while to get used to it. 80GB is a lot compared to the original Zune 30 I was using. One thing that was disappointing…I didn’t realize that the cradle was specific to each model...

How do you empty the synching queue on a Zune?

I have a couple movies in my synching queue for the Zune, but I don’t want them there anymore. Every time I dock my Zune, the software still wants to synch them, and I can find no where in the software that allows me to empty the queue. Does anyone know how to do this?

Confronted with a Zune Device update today

Amazon.com Unbox and Zune

Why, oh why, do the mobile files (which are in .wmv format) from Amazon.com’s Unbox download service, not work on the Microsoft Zune? You can view the mobile files in the Zune PC software and in Windows Media Player/Center, but it won’t transfer or play on the Zune. Crazy stuff. Amazon.com’s...
