Started off rocky though...

I decided to drive to Nashville the night before so I wouldn't have to drive so far early in the morning...so I decided to leave around 5:00. I always check my tires before I leave...guess what, it was low. So I aired it up and as fast as I put air it, it came out. I had a HUGE rip in the tire. So, my wife and kids were going to drive me down to Nashville, but my Dad let me drive his truck...which was great!

So, I finally arrive at San Diego and thought I was going to have a "special" room for speakers...but I was SADLY mistaken...the room was crap, sorry...but it was. So Monday, we were all at the Meet and Greet...waiting for Rod and Meg Trent to show up. However, found out on Tuesday he spent some time in the hospital.

I finished my slides up on Wednesday, presented on Friday. I did Rod's Building Community Session which I owe a HUGE THANK YOU ROD FOR THE VOTE OF CONFIDENCE!!

I did get to spend time with Mike Shultz and Meg Trent as we walked around the vendors booth while Meg was the "Voice of myITforum.com, Inc" Which she did an awesome job with!! Spending time with Mike Shultz is just awesom...The guy is a freakin' genius and he knows EVERYONE.

Seeing everyone was AWESOME at the meet and greets. Also, the trip to Sea World was great...yes, Henry Wilson was the guy with the Umbrella thought and it was his idea to take it to the Dolphine show. I made it home and then got approval to order SMS 2003 at Bremner, so I will be rolling it out soon here.

MMS 2006

So...how was MMS 2006 for me? It was great.

It should be a great Summit this year...myITforum.com, Inc. is represented extremely well, as always.

There are many great sessions to keep an eye on:

Greg Ramsey will showcase a Web Console...however, this session is the same time as mine, so you will have to see Greg's on the Post-Conference DVD (Sorry Greg!!)

I will be giving you a glimpse of Greg's work during my presentation.

There will be other great sessions from various people so keep an eye out for names you recognize. Also, don't forget the myITforum Party.

Look me up when you get there...email me, call my cell phone, track me down, or whatever it takes...I'll be around.
