For a while now, I’ve been tossing around the idea to start a blog for Systems Management.  I’ve been involved with it for quite a while; It’s something I thoroughly enjoy!!

“So why start a blog on System Management?”…”Aren’t there enough already?”  Well, yes…there are…and some would argue considering the exponential growth of this particular sector in the IT industry, there are probably not enough.

But let me start by highlighting some pretty good ones that you probably are already familiar with:

• myITforum.com – the PREMIER website for all things System Center and other Microsoft infrastructure and management technologies.  Myself and others are deeply indebted to myITforum and “The List”!!
• Configuration Manager Writers a.k.a. “The SMS Docs Team” – They announced in January of a decision to combine the existing blogging information of the ConfigMgr product group into one place.  Either way, the Docs Team are a self-less team of dedicated (in their job and passion for the product) and extremely knowledgeable group whose primary goal is to make all of our lives easier through the development of great documentation for ConfigMgr.  Can’t say enough about them…they do EXCELLENT work!!
• Michael Niehaus – The guy is ALL OVER THE PLACE!!  If you have a pulse and can spell OSD, you’ve heard of him.  Rock STAR…’nuff said!!

The are just a few of many that are out there.  Ok…I digress, but had to give respect where respect is due.

So why am I starting my blogging career?  Sure, I could come up with a “cool” list, emphasizing my reasons.  But the fact of the matter is I really LOVE, ENJOY and have a PASSION for my profession…and would like for you to know what I know and share that same experience!!
