Vista SP1 and Windows Server 2008 Delayed
What is the status? Windows Server 2008, formerly Longhorn, will be delayed until Q1 of 2008 but will be available to SA and MSDN subscribers prior to RTM. SQL Server 2008 and Visual Studio 2008 are scheduled to be released with Server 2008 so I can only assume they will be delayed as well. Vista Build 5381 is Out RC1 and Beta 2 are Coming
If you are part of the Beta or Ascend program, the new build of Vista is available for download on connect . This is not Beta 2, as some had promised, from what I have learned this build will be the the Beta 2 and will be released during WinHec, although it does say that the Milestone is Beta 2 on the download page.
