Two Open Positions in Phoenix
A colleague of mine has contacted me about two open positions he has one is for a Senior Windows Server Administrator, the other is for a SharePoint Server Admin/Developer, these are both in the Phoenix metro area. Sr. Windows System Administrator:
The Senior Windows Systems Administrator will be managing and administering approximately 30 Windows 2003 servers across 3 states. Including, Global Catalog, File Print, ISA, SMS and Exchange Cluster systems, along with administering DHCP, WINS and DNS servers. This position will provide 24/7 on call support as needed. The administrator will also do application implementation, server upgrades, software patches, anti-virus software. This will include setting up and troubleshooting replication issues, new site subnets, new servers, user and group authorities/policy, printers, etc.

· Assist in developing and maintain systems operations procedures, change control records and other required documentation and processes.
· Operate, maintain and monitor equipment and system performance trends to ensure adequate computing and storage for all services and applications.
· Perform routine tasks to maintain computer equipment and peripherals.
Your qualifications include:
· Bachelors degree in a computer related field or equivalent experience.
· Microsoft Certification ** MCSE
· Minimum 8 years of experience in a technology related field.
· Minimum 3 years of experience in senior technical role
· Minimum 8 years experience supporting Microsoft Windows 2000, 2003 sever environments.
· Extensive knowledge and minimum of 5 years of hands on experience with DHCP, DNS, WINS and Active Directory services
· Extensive knowledge of Group Policy scripting and administration
· Responsible for maintaining the TCP/IP subnet addressing for the assignment of TCP/IP addresses across the enterprise network.
· Experience with SMS, SQL Server, IIS required
· Experience with Outlook and Exchange 2003 required
· Solid understanding of routing, switching and VLAN's required
· Knowledge of Cisco systems preferred
· Remote Access experience RAS preferred
· Assist in the planning of upgrades, migrations and new installations
· Assist in the design and implementation of network, server and workstation environment
· Must be experienced in DNS admin - Must be able to administer both public and private DNS.
· VMWare experience is a plus
· Must have experience building Windows 2003 servers and installing Exchange 2003
· Excellent oral, written communication and documentation skills.
SharePoint 2003/2007 application developer with at least 3 years practical experience. Experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2000 and/or SQL Server 2005, ASP.Net 2.0 and Visual Studio 2005 is very important. Microsoft SharePoint (2003 or 2007) experience with a focus on business process automation with a concentration on Document Management and Enterprise Content Management is a must.
-MUST HAVE sufficient experience or knowledge of Sharepoint 2003/2007 Server and Sharepoint 2003/2007 admin/development. The candidate should be familiar with the SharePoint object model and have experience developing custom workflows inside SharePoint.
