Microsoft released the promised fix on 100% CPU usage svchost/msi
There was a hotfix+WSUS 3.0 patch/upgrade weeks ago (see here and here) and as Microsoft has promised, an MSI fix will be available this month. They've released the fix today and you should received it thru Windows Updates or Microsoft Update website.
