At CES 2007 during the keynote Bill Gates announced two of the first Vista Extra's for Vista Ultimate. The first is Full Motion Desktop, similar to setting your screen saver as your desktop background that I discussed here. The other was GroupShot, also previously discussed this in June of last year on my blog here. The GroupShot was not something you could get before it was only being developed by the Microsoft Research group at the time.

The other announcement that I find interesting is the Home Server. This server does some pretty cool stuff, including nightly automatic backups of the content, pool storage from all the PC's in your house, remote connection into your Home Server from anywhere and all the PC's on your home network, with Home Server you can store all your digital media and make sure it gets backed up, the setup is easy to do so even those who are not a systems administrator can use it or set it up.
