Well it has been a long, long, difficult project, but come tomorrow around 8:30 my time, all of my long hours and non-SMS work will come to end.  Our customer comes on site for a week long of test scenarios and unless there is some issues with the Dell blade servers, EMC SANs, VMware servers, McData switches, Foundry FastIron load balancers, or Cisco Catalyst switch, I only have a couple of the test scenarios where I need to be present.  So I should be able to get back to my normal hectic life of SMS.  That means I should be getting back to my normal blogging schedule of at least a post a day as well.

To kick it off here are a compilation of Vista tips that compiled from Tim Sneaths blog on Vista.

I tried installing the RTM this morning on one of my Tablet’s and I got an error during setup when it was copying files.  It was error code 0x800070241, it seems I am not alone in this problem but I will have to wait until tomorrow to try getting another copy downloaded.  I have some preliminary info on what the SMS 2003 SP2 client does on Vista and what it is like to manage it but I want to gather more before posting it so it will have to wait a couple more days.

As always you can email me with any questions or comments.
