Well maybe it’s not the greatest new feature but there are list I subscribe to that I do not post to because of the number of out of office replies it generates.  I had messed around with the OO rules but if you do custom rules the internal people get a reply each time, the default one only sends them one per day.  But finally Outlook lets you setup rules for internal and different rules for external!
