Don’t forget to stop by our forum, it’s open for discussion!

You are the SMS administrator for myITforum.comThey have a head office and a single branch office. The SMS 2003 site hierarchy consists of a central site at the head office and a primary child site at the branch office. The client computers in both the offices are configured as Advanced Clients and Legacy Clients.

You move a Legacy Client from the branch office to the head office. You assign the client to the head office SMS site. The client reports his inability to access the management point in the central site. You investigate and discover that the client is not functioning properly. You decide to remove the Legacy Client software components from the computer and install the Advanced Client instead.

Which method or methods can you use to remove a Legacy Client automatically? (Choose all that apply.)

A.       Remove the SMS site boundaries from the site configuration.

B.       Run the SMSMan.exe /U file on the Legacy Client computer.

C.       Set the value of HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\SMS\Client\Configuration\Client

Properties\SMS Client Deinstall registry key to True.

D.       Set the value of HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\SMS\Client\Configuration\Client

Properties\SMS Client Deinstall registry key to False.

Please send me an email with your answer in the subject line.

Sorry about the late post, I had some stuff to take care of yesterday and by the time I got around to posting our power went out so we went to dinner and got back about nine.  There will be another question later today that will actually be question 24 or Tuesday’s question.

Regards.
