I love MSN Alerts, you can configure them for alerts to sites or blogs that you visit often so you can get a notification of new content.  One of the best things (for me) is that they can be configured based on your sign in status, for example, I have several computers that I use, my laptop, tablet, and a few workstations.  So if I am signed into Messenger on any computer I see the alerts on that computer, if not they get sent to my hotmail account.  Some sites can generate a lot of notices so you may want to monitor your Inbox to see if it is too much traffic.

In any event, if you look to the left you will see the chicklet to add my blog to your MSN Alerts if you so desire.
