Maybe “HKLM\Software\Softricity\Softgrid Client\CurrentVersion\Applications”?

Key name may have changed with a newer APP-V client.

Subject: [mssms] Monitoring App-V 4.5.x client health using ConfigMgr hinv

Hey  folks... happy new year! Hope everyone enjoyed the weekend. Onto some questions about monitoring the App-V cache... our policy is to virtualize the majority of our apps, so monitoring the health of the App-V 4.5.x clients is critical for the application environment.

The App-V team blog gives some guidance on how to monitor the App-V cache -

http://blogs.technet.com/softgrid/archive/2009/04/06/how-to-determine-the-space-remaining-in-the-app-v-client-cache.aspx

Is anyone inventorying the AppVirt performance counters into ConfigMgr? Would you care to share what approach you're taking? And other than the other App-V client WMI classes in the root\microsoft\appvirt\client namespace, what other App-V client bits and pieces might it make sense to inventory into ConfigMgr?

Thank you - Al Corsi
