This error appears multiple times before it fails.  I think it has to do with the mass storage driver.  There is updated versions for the E4300 released 4/2009.

I just want to add to an existing post from 6/15/2009.  I am having the same issue on DELL E-Series laptops.  More specifically the E4300.  It will fail the first time sometimes but the second time will go through.  Haven't found a root cause yet.
