Unfortunately no success either

Is possible that this related to SP3?

mmmmm I'm pretty sure I used the keyboardlocale in the past with XP and with success.

But I'm not gonna discuss with THE MDT GURU :-)

I'll give it a try and keep you posted!

Tnx Michael!

KeyboardLocale is only used for Windows Vista.

Have you tried setting InputLocale=0813:00000813?

Hi,

I have an issue with the keyboard layout when installing a build. (XP SP3)

As you can see the value is gathered correctly out of the database.

When I hit shift+F10 during mini setup I can see that the correct keyboard layout is added to sysprep.inf.

Unfortunaltely it's stays qwerty instead off azerty?

BDD.log looks like:

Property KEYBOARDLOCALE is now = 0813:00000813 ZTIDiskpart 10/06/2009 13:37:39 0 (0x0000)
Property SKIPLOCALESELECTION is now = YES ZTIDiskpart 10/06/2009 13:37:39 0 (0x0000)
Property SKIPBDDWELCOME is now = YES ZTIDiskpart 10/06/2009 13:37:39 0 (0x0000)
Property OSINSTALL is now = Y ZTIDiskpart 10/06/2009 13:37:39 0 (0x0000)
Property COMPUTERNAME is now = TEST69303 ZTIDiskpart 10/06/2009 13:37:39 0 (0x0000)
Property OSDINSTALLSILENT is now = 1 ZTIDiskpart 10/06/2009 13:37:39 0 (0x0000)
Property TIMEZONE is now = 105 ZTIDiskpart 10/06/2009 13:37:39 0 (0x0000)
Property INPUTLOCALE is now = 0813 ZTIDiskpart 10/06/2009 13:37:39 0 (0x0000)

FOR SOME REASON I DON'T see that keyboardlocale gets updated into sysprep.inf nevertheless I can see it in sysprep.inf.
KeyboardLocale and InputLocale are not applied correclty, other like TimeZone is applied.

Updated C:\sysprep\Sysprep.inf section [RegionalSettings] with InputLocale=0813 (value was ) ZTIConfigure 10/06/2009 13:40:57 0 (0x0000)
