I'm having this issue after I update my OS image. I can see in the TS log its looking for version 1 of the package, but version 3 is on an unprotected DP.
Has anyone seen this before?

I just had this problem (ie., the fact that no DPs are found, not the SATA controller issue) and it was because I never had the IP subnet in the boundaries list (also be careful if your DP is protected, you will need to add the subnet there also).
Here’s a link with some discussion about this and some possible other issues:
http://forums.microsoft.com/TechNet/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=2586757&SiteID=17
For example, make sure your package has properly been distributed to the DPs.

- OSD installed XP SP2 Image
"Windows could not start because of a computer disk hardware configuration problem. Could not read from the selected boot disk.
Check boot path and disk hardware."
The Image was taken from GX620 and applied to OptiPlex 755. I think the problem is missing SATA drivers (though I expect bluescreen 7B then)
I have configured a Driver Package but It seems it could not be found in the "Apply Device Drivers" Task Sequence:
Resolving content for driver "Intel(R) 82801FBM SATA AHCI Controller"

(same results when booting with CD)
I have refreshed Boot Image (x86) and the Operating System Image.
