System Center Virtual User Group Meeting #11
The next System Center Virtual User Group meeting #11 will be June 11th, 12 noon central start time. We have Andrew Dominey from 1E who will be showing the new NightWatchman Server Edition 2.0 product, it will be hot off the press. Next we have two sessions for Operations Manager with Cameron Fuller discussing how to create and use custom groups, and last but certainly not least we have Kevin Holman discussing Management Group Checkup - a database perspective.

Andrew Dominey Product Manager for 1E
Andrew Dominey, a 1E Product Manager and IT efficiency expert, has extensive experience with data-center energy efficiency, server virtualization and a wide range of Microsoft enterprise solutions. Dominey helps global enterprises rapidly deploy energy- and cost-saving solutions across complex data-center environments to generate significant ROI. In his current role, he also manages the product direction and development of NightWatchman Server Edition based on his understanding of enterprise infrastructure, server efficiency and IT waste reduction.
Since joining 1E in 2005, Dominey has held numerous management roles including Senior Consultant, Principal Consultant and Practice Lead. Prior to joining 1E, he served as a systems administrator for Cobweb Solutions, Ltd., where he monitored, maintained and supported an expansive infrastructure serving more than 1,500 customers. Previously, he developed an in-depth understanding of large-scale server infrastructures as a field service engineer, 2nd-level engineer and 3rd-level engineer at World Class International (WCI).
He has presented at an array of industry events, including MMS, and has published numerous Microsoft Operations Manager 2005 (MOM) and Microsoft System Center Operations Manager 2007 (OpsMgr) books, articles and whitepapers. In addition to an avid passion for photography, Dominey currently teaches karate and holds a third degree Black Belt in Goju Ryu Karate.
Cameron Fuller Principal Consultant for Catapult Systems
Cameron Fuller, BS, MCSE, MOM MVP, is a Principal consultant for Catapult Systems, an IT consulting company and Microsoft Gold Certified Partner in Advanced Infrastructure Solutions. His fifteen years of infrastructure experience include working with medium to large companies in the retail, education, healthcare, distributing, transportation, and energy industries. Cameron continually focuses on improving his existing business and technical skill sets through hands-on experience and leveraging certifications including an MCSE since NT 3.51, MCSA, A+, Linux+, Server+, and CCSA. Cameron has presented on Operations Manager at events including Microsoft TechEd (2005 and 2007) and MMS (2008). He is co-author of Microsoft Operations Manager 2005 Unleashed, Microsoft Systems Center Operations Manager 2007 Unleashed, and Microsoft Systems Center Operations Manager 2007 R2 Unleashed.
Kevin Holman PFE for Microsoft
Kevin Holman is a Senior Premier Field Engineer with Microsoft supporting System Center Operations Manager for large enterprises. He has been with Microsoft for 4 years and has been involved with large scale deployments of MOM 2005 and OpsMgr 2007, out of the Las Colinas, TX office. Kevin has been in the technology industry for 15 years, previously as a Platforms Engineer for EDS. He is active in the OpsMgr community, and maintains an OpsMgr blog, at http://blogs.technet.com/kevinholman/. He currently lives in Plano, TX.
