My nephews have had a Wii for about a year; and I finally decided to buy one for myself. I know I won't need to buy any games for a while--I can just borrow from them. I know they have at least 6--I bought them 3 over the last year (ones I knew I would like, too), and they've purchased their own with their summer job money. Yes, I am that crafty: buying gifts for others that I know I'll like & can borrow. 
It was really easy to setup; and it's "sort of" connected to the internet. It downloaded an update wirelessly, but it balked at actually getting other content. I might have to hard wire it and see if it's simply the wireless is too weak.
Purpleslog: only 1 controller though... if you're going to play, we may need to borrow another controller!
