Chicago Windows User Group - Extending HW Inventory
On August 16th, I spoke to a few people at the Chicago Windows User Group about extending Hardware Inventory using sms_def.mof Attached is the presentation, the mini.mof used for the demo, and the not-swag-but-better-than-nothing. I didn't have any swag to give away, and not everyone at the meeting currently uses SMS (they are thinking about it). Since 1 of the mof edits I demo'd was the local admin group membership extension, I threw together a quick .HTA to remotely query a computer's local admin group membership, and display it.
