There was a lot of buzz around their Client Health and One Site products.

We specially love the workflow engine they have developed for the Client Health Enterprise Edition product.

http://shop.ecompanystore.com/mseventdvd/MSD_productdetail.asp?EventID=70899&TYPE=MMS+2010

And, of course – the item shows as backordered right now. You can use the following link to be notified when the DVD set becomes available:

http://shop.ecompanystore.com/mseventdvd/MSD_BackOrder.asp?Product=MIC00408000

And, if you attended MMS 2010 and would like to purchase another DVD set, you can use the following link.

Attendee Link:

https://shop.ecompanystore.com/mseventdvd/MSD_validate.asp?id=70899&TYPE=MMS%202010%20Post%20Conference%20DVD
My MMS 2010 DVD actually arrived this past Saturday, June 1st, 2010. Not sure if I was the first to receive it, but this year’s distribution is definitely a record. The MMS 2010 folks utilized better technology this year, along with a new company, so it looks like they made the right choice.

The funny part is that, yesterday, I received an email telling me that I would receive the MMS 2010 DVD in about 2 weeks. So, either my DVD was sitting in a time warp, the postal service has made some serious improvements to their delivery processes, or, maybe next year the MMS crew needs to also change the email facilities to match this year’s stellar DVD production experience.

The email I received yesterday:

Dear MMS 2010 Attendee,

This e-mail serves as confirmation that your MMS 2010 DVD set has been shipped and you should be receiving it within 1-2 weeks (International locations may take longer). The DVD set has been sent via the U.S. Postal Service to the address included with your registration information.

If you do not receive your DVD set within the specified time, please e-mail MMS2010DVD@paragongroup.com for further assistance.

For more information about the MMS 2010 DVD set, including how you can order additional copies, please access the MMS News page at http://mms-2010.com

Thanks again for your participation in MMS 2010!

MMS 2010 Team

This year we got more busy than usual as many of the speakers got stuck in Europe due to the volcano eruption in Iceland. Johan Arwidmark and Mikael Nystrom were asked to step up and fill in for those that did not make it. In all that resulted in the two of them gave 11 sessions for the delight of the attending IT Pros.

In total they had close to 2,000 that sat in in their sessions. During the sessions they also took the opportunity to raffle pre-production copies of their brand new book; “Deployment Fundamentals – Volume 1, Migrating to Windows 7 using MDT 2010 Lite Touch and WDS”. If you weren’t among the lucky ones that lay hands on this must have deployment handbook, can now order it directly from amazon.com. Read more about the title at www.deploymentfundamentals.com

TrueSec also had a booth in the exhibitor area where we met with new and old customers. The booth was manned by Kent Agerlund, MVP in SCCM and Per Kimblad, GM TrueSec Inc. As custom asks for, we offered Swedish candy to any one stopping by. Sweet and sour as well as salty liquorish! Testy for some, sweet for others J

What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas? Really? Not so when it comes to TrueSec.

If you attended MMS 2010, you probably know by now that you can revisit the official site and view the presentations that were given. If you want more, or did not visit MMS, you won’t have to wait for long as Johan and Mikael are back already in May.

Mikael is running popular Lite Touch lab in Chicago May 19 -21, and Johan is running the Zero Touch lab in London UK, the same dates. Seats still available for both labs.

Kent is running his “Mastering SCCM” as well as “SCCM for Helpdesk staff” in Chicago the second week in June. Don’t miss these top of the line SCCM labs.

Stay in touch and check out our labs at www.truesec.com

Did you miss Mikael Nystrom sessions at MMS-2010?

Mikael Nystrom, MVP and senior deployment consultant at TrueSec, gave 5 sessions at MMS covering deployment of Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 (among other topics). It was an extremely successful BOF. One of the deliverables from the BOF was to create a new email list that is specific to Health Care issues, concerns, and management.

The list is now available.
