Geek by definition: Consumerization

Definition:  Consumerization, and specifically, the Consumerization of IT, is where consumer products or technologies are brought into the corporate environment with the intent for business use.  The term was coined (or envisioned) in 2001 by Douglas Neal and John Taylor of CSC’s Leading Edge Forum, but the effects are just now being realized.
