Congratulations to the winner of the free MMS 2011 pass–and, as always, a great community story #mms2011

If you’ve been following at all, you know we recently held a contest to help us determine the myITforum.com party ticket slogan for MMS 2011.  Basically, we took 50 or so submitted slogans, boiled them down the top 5, and then the community voted for the winner.

Incidentally, the winning slogan that will grace this year’s myITforum.com party ticket is:

myITforum: They've got the tools, we've got the talent!

And, the winner of the free pass to MMS 2011 this year is Eric Groff.  Eric is the owner of the winning slogan.  Congrats, Eric!

OK…so here’s the good part of this story, and one of the reasons why this community is simply the best in the world.

Since Eric’s employer was already sending him to MMS 2011, Eric offered up the free MMS 2011 conference pass to anyone in the community who was not able to attend this year. 

Josh Searles (picture here) was not able to attend this year and was already starting to feel the effects.  He was fine, able to push down his feelings, until we decided to get a group together to visit the Pawn Stars shop.  That was the last straw, and it broke down his MMS defenses.

Well, I’m happy to say that Josh is now the proud owner of a free conference pass to MMS 2011!

So, congratulations, Josh!  Good job, Eric! See you both at MMS 2011!
