Join us for the new Tampa Microsoft Infrastructure User Group!

The purpose of the Infrastructure User Group is to provide Microsoft administrators in central Florida with a place to exchange ideas, work out challenges together, and discuss new Microsoft technologies.

The group is community led, focusing on all aspects of Microsoft infrastructure technology from System Center to virtualization to Unified Communications and beyond. Topics will be driven by the community requests. Members of the user group and industry leaders will provide the presentations. Vendors may be invited to speak from time to time.

Membership is free. If you wish to become a member of the group, simply register on www.myITForum.com  and provide the group moderator with your user ID for access to the "members only" group forum.

The first meeting of the Infrastructure User Group will be held October 6th from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Microsoft Tampa office (located at 5426 Bay Center Drive, Ste. 700, Tampa Fl. 33609). An RSVP site will be available next week.

Catapult will be providing food and beverages. Catapult will be raffling off a new a Zune with Microsoft providing other items to take home. 

Meeting Topics

Welcome

Vince Reedy from Catapult Systems will discuss the mission statement and goals of the user group. Additionally, he’ll be asking for feedback on the direction of the group and volunteers to help run it.

System Center Road Map

Important changes are being made to the System Center family. Microsoft will present where the System Center products are headed in the next two years.

Service Manager Design

Dave Jaffe from Catapult Systems will present on Service Manager 2010 and best practices for designing and implementing it.
